The newly appointed youth who received job letters from CM Bhagwant Singh Mann on Wednesday expressed heartfelt gratitude to the state government for transforming their lives by providing employment purely on merit.
Sukhpreet Singh, one of the beneficiaries, thanked CM Bhagwant , sharing that he and his wife, Harpreet Kaur, returned from abroad to join as Assistant Professors. He emphasized that with the government offering ample opportunities, there is no longer a need to seek employment overseas.
Similarly, Dr. Alka Kalyan expressed immense pride and satisfaction in securing a job based purely on merit. She highlighted that 1,158 assistant professors had received strong support from the state government and noted that, after 30 years, colleges in Punjab have been staffed with professors selected solely on merit. She thanked CM Bhagwant and pledged to contribute towards realizing his vision of Rangla Punjab.
Fatehjeet Singh, selected as a Junior Engineer in the Rural Development Department, also conveyed his gratitude to CM Bhagwant . He revealed that he had initially planned to move abroad but decided to stay after securing employment in the department.
Similarly, Kuljinder Dhiman, another newly appointed Junior Engineer, expressed her deep appreciation for CM Bhagwant , stating that the opportunity provided by the state government has enabled her to actively contribute to Punjab’s progress.
