NRI Affairs Minister Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal conducted the fourth online NRI Milnee today at Punjab Civil Secretariat-1, where he personally addressed the grievances and complaints of NRI Punjabis via video conferencing.
He stated that under the leadership of Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann, Punjab has launched this unique initiative to resolve issues faced by NRI Punjabis. Punjab is the only state in the country to introduce such an NRI Milnee program for grievance redressal.
During this session, 123 complaints were received—98 via email and 25 through WhatsApp. He also noted that in the previous three NRI Milnees, a total of 393 complaints were registered, out of which 343 have already been resolved.
Dhaliwal instructed ADGP NRI Wing Praveen K. Sinha and SSPs of the concerned districts to promptly address the grievances. He assured NRIs that their concerns would be resolved at the earliest and reaffirmed his commitment to assisting them, stating that they are welcome to meet him anytime at their convenience.
The session was attended by Additional Chief Secretary Dilip Kumar, ADGP NRI Wing Praveen K. Sinha, and other officials from the NRI Affairs Department.
