As Panchayat 3 prepares for its eagerly awaited online debut, Amazon Prime Video has decided to tease fans with a lighthearted guessing game. The sitcom has a devoted fan base because of its clever depiction of a young urbanite negotiating rural life.
With a smart twist, Prime Video teased the upcoming season’s OTT release date on Monday. To keep viewers interested, the streaming service released a teaser video along with a mysterious message.

In the video, Jitendra Kumar, who is well-known from “Panchayat,” played a humorous game with the fans in which they had to keep taking out “Lauki,” or bottle gourds, in order to reveal the series’ premiere date.

Rumors circulated that the third season of Panchayat might not be announced until after the Indian Premier League concludes in 2024. In addition to Jitendra Kumar, other actors in the series include Raghubir Yadav, Sanvikaa, and Neena Gupta.
