Panchayat members from Khori village in Rewari district visited Chandigarh today to personally thank Haryana Health and Family Welfare Minister Arti Singh Rao for approving the establishment of a Sub-Health Centre in their village.
The delegation expressed deep gratitude to the minister for fulfilling their long-pending demand for better healthcare access in Khori. They appreciated the prompt response and effective measures taken by the Health Department under her leadership.
Minister Arti Singh Rao welcomed the group warmly and reaffirmed the government’s commitment to strengthening healthcare infrastructure in rural areas. She noted that the new Sub-Health Centre will greatly improve access to primary health services in the region, benefiting thousands of villagers by providing essential care closer to home.
She further assured the panchayat members that the Health Department remains dedicated to enhancing healthcare accessibility across Haryana.
The upcoming Sub-Health Centre will offer key services like immunization, basic medical care, preventive treatments, and health awareness programs. This initiative is part of the government’s broader ‘Swasth Haryana’ mission, aimed at uplifting healthcare standards in rural communities.
Those present during the visit included Neetu Chaudhary, former district councillor and State Vice President of Mahila Morcha, along with former Sarpanches Vinod Sharma and Chhatar Singh, Advocate Dayanand Sharma, and other community members like Rekha, Rajkumar, Sandeep, Hansraj, Pradeep, and Harvinder Singh.
