Pran Pratishtha Ceremony

Pran Pratishtha: On Monday, when the sacred city of Ayodhya witnessed the opening of the Ram Temple and the consecration ceremony, Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived. The idol of Ram Lalla will be dedicated inside the opulent temple during the ceremony. Prime Minister Narendra Modi dressed specially for the event. He is seen here donning a golden kurta, a cream dhoti, and a patka. A silver ‘chattar’ (umbrella) adorned a crimson dupatta that he casually walked inside the temple precincts.

“Everyone is enthralled by the remarkable moment of Lord Ram Lalla’s consecration ceremony in Ayodhya,” wrote PM Modi on X. Being a part of this amazing event is an absolute privilege for me. “Jai Siya Ram!”

The ‘pran pratishtha’ rites at the Shri Ram Janmaboomi Temple in Ayodhya were observed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief of the Rashtriya Swayambhau.

Along with Prime Minister Modi, dignitaries who saw the historic ceremony were Yogi Adityanath, the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, Anandiben Patel, the governor of UP, and Mahant Nritya Gopal, the president of the temple trust.

Pran Pratishtha: According to reports reported on Friday, PM Modi had adopted a spartan routine ahead of the consecration event, forgoing comforts and abiding by religious observance for 11 straight days.

According to the story, Modi has opted to sleep on a floor blanket and only drink coconut water as part of this unique religious routine.

In line with religious texts, the prime minister has also actively engaged in “gau-pooja,” feeding cows, and carrying out a number of humanitarian endeavors, such as “annadaan” and clothing distribution.

Pran Pratishtha: Prior to this, Champat Rai, the general secretary of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, said that the public would be able to get “darshan” at the Ram temple starting on January 23.

The Bharatiya Janata Party started the national campaign of temple cleanliness activities in the lead-up to the opening of the Ram Temple. The push went on till January 22, the day of the Ayodhya Ram temple’s Pran Pratishtha. Today is the temple’s consecration ceremony. Lakshami Kant Dixit, one of the priests leading the ceremony, will oversee the priests’ actions.
