PM Modi to address a massive public rally in Meerut from a 64-ft stage. VIP and public entry arrangements finalized; Namo Bharat train and Rapid Metro corridor to be flagged off.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to address a massive public rally in Mohiyuddinpur, Meerut, from a specially constructed 64-foot long and 8-foot high stage. The event is expected to witness the participation of nearly one lakh attendees, including VIPs, public representatives, and party workers.
The rally, scheduled for 22 February, will also include the flagging off of the Namo Bharat train and the Meerut South Rapid Metro Corridor, spanning 23.6 km from Modi Puram to Meerut South, aimed at reducing travel time to Delhi.
Stage and Venue Details
The specially designed stage measures 64 feet in length, 32 feet in width, and 8 feet in height. It will host Prime Minister Modi along with CM Yogi Adityanath and other central ministers. A special VIP entry route has been created, connecting the stage to five helipads for secure and smooth arrival. The entire stage area will remain under the Special Protection Group (SPG) security cover.
The rally venue spans 7 lakh sq. ft., including 4,000 sq. ft. of German hangars and standard tents. Seating arrangements include one lakh chairs, ensuring attendees get a clear view of the stage. The SPG security perimeter will be positioned directly in front of the stage, followed by press galleries, NCRTC officials, government officers, and BJP leaders.

VIP and Public Entry Management
To manage the large crowd, three separate entry points have been arranged. VIPs will access the stage via a dedicated route, while general public entry will be through the Gejha pathway, which also connects to the nearby vehicle parking zone.
The stage has been designed considering Vastu principles, with the orientation towards the east, ensuring optimal alignment and visibility. This approach also sends a strategic development message ahead of the 2027 elections.
Technology and Accessibility
To ensure every attendee can see and hear the leaders clearly, 25 LED screens have been installed across the venue. Advanced sound systems have already been deployed, allowing attendees seated at a distance to experience the event live.
Inspection and Final Preparations
The rally venue was inspected by DM Dr. V.K. Singh, SSP Avinash Pandey, and senior BJP leaders including Regional President Satyendra Sisodia, Cantt MLA Amit Aggarwal, Mayor Harikant Ahluwalia, District President Harveer Pal, among others. The officials and leaders coordinated arrangements for seating, water supply, parking, and volunteer management to ensure a smooth and secure event.
With preparations nearing completion, the Meerut public rally promises to be a landmark event, highlighting development projects, connectivity improvements, and government initiatives to the public.
