PM travels to Bihar to visit the Nalanda Ruins
Today, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi traveled to the Nalanda Ruins in Bihar. One of the first residential universities in the world was the original Nalanda University. In 2016, the Nalanda remains were designated as a United Nations Heritage Site.
On X, the prime minister posted.
“Seeing the Nalanda excavation sites was excellent. It was a chance to be there at one of the most esteemed centers of study in antiquity. This website provides a rich window into the academic community that formerly called this place home. Our country still benefits from the intellectual spirit Nalanda fostered.
