Direct Transfers Strengthen Transparency
The Punjab Government has increasingly relied on digital governance and direct benefit transfers to improve accountability and eliminate leakages in welfare schemes. By transferring funds directly into beneficiaries’ accounts, the administration aims to make public welfare programs more efficient and accessible.
Officials noted that the latest release of funds under the Ashirwad Scheme reflects the government’s continued efforts to strengthen social security measures and uplift vulnerable communities across Punjab.
Mann Government Reaffirms Commitment
The Mann Government has reiterated its commitment to ensuring that welfare benefits reach every deserving family without any interference from intermediaries. The administration believes that technology-driven governance can help build trust and deliver timely assistance to citizens.
With the release of ₹16.74 crore under the Ashirwad Scheme, thousands of families across Punjab are expected to receive much-needed financial support, further reinforcing the government’s focus on inclusive growth and social welfare.
