Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann announces, Punjab will get Rs.1100 per month instead of Rs.1000
Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann on Tuesday campaigned for the AAP candidate Gurmeet Singh Meet Hayer in his (Mann’s) very own constituency Dhuri. Mann was addressing a large public rally in Dhuri, where he made a major announcement that soon all women in Punjab will get Rs 1,100 per month instead of the promised Rs 1,000 per month.
Addressing the rally, Mann said he would not tire or stop until Akali, the Congress and the BJP are finally driven out of Punjab.
He said these people have ruined three generations of us. They deprive our children of their rights and destroy their futures; they destroy our youth and destroy the lives of our elders. Mann said people call me “Bai ji” (Malwai word for big brother) because I am one of them, I am their son and brother.
Mann said electricity is free for households in Punjab and “90% of households in Punjab do not receive electricity bills.” Our government purchased a private thermal power plant and named it after Guru Amardas ji. With an honest government, anything is possible. Before the AAP government, only 21 per cent of the fields received canal water. Currently, more than 60% of farmland is supplied by canals. My aim is to make every field in Punjab have access to canal water for irrigation. “
Making a vote statement, Mann said that he was opposed to the regime, the BJP, and the Center; he also opposed the Governor and every other opponent in Punjab in order to promote the state’s interests and population. He encouraged the populous to help him become more powerful by giving him 13 additional arms and votes in the Parliament.
