AAP Leader Demands Similar Scheme for Gujarat
Reacting to the launch, AAP Gujarat State Mahila Morcha President Payal Patel held a press conference and urged the Gujarat government to implement a similar scheme in the state.
She said that Punjab’s initiative is a progressive step for women empowerment and should be replicated in Gujarat to benefit women from all sections of society. According to her, direct financial assistance can significantly improve the living standards and independence of women.

Focus on Women Empowerment
Payal Patel emphasized that women empowerment policies should go beyond announcements and directly impact beneficiaries. She added that monthly financial assistance can help women manage household needs, education expenses, and personal development.
She also highlighted that such schemes can play a crucial role in reducing economic dependency and promoting social equality.
Political Debate Likely to Intensify
The launch of the scheme in Punjab has also sparked political discussions, with AAP leaders calling it a landmark welfare initiative. Opposition parties are expected to respond in the coming days as the debate over welfare policies and financial assistance programs gains momentum.
Wider Impact Expected
The Punjab government believes that the scheme will benefit thousands of women across the state and serve as a model for other states. AAP leaders argue that direct benefit transfer-based schemes like this ensure transparency and quick delivery of financial support.
With growing attention on women-centric welfare programs, the initiative is likely to influence policy discussions in other states as well.
