Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami addressed a beneficiaries’ conference in Dehradun, highlighting welfare schemes, UCC and minority education reforms.
Pushkar Singh Dhami interacted with beneficiaries of various government welfare schemes during a ‘Labharthi Sammelan’ (Beneficiaries’ Conference) organized by the Minority Morcha in Dehradun. The event provided a platform for beneficiaries to share how central and state government initiatives have positively impacted their lives.
Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that the Uttarakhand Government remains committed to ensuring that welfare schemes reach every eligible citizen and contribute to inclusive development across the state.
Focus on Modern Minority Education
CM Pushkar Singh Dhami said the state government has replaced the Uttarakhand Madrasa Board with the State Minority Education Authority, describing the move as an important step towards promoting modern, quality-oriented education. He stated that the new framework aims to provide students with better educational opportunities and prepare them for future challenges.
He added that education reforms are a key part of the government’s vision for empowering young people and improving learning outcomes.

UCC Described as a Landmark Reform
The Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami also highlighted the implementation of the Uniform Civil Code (UCC) in Uttarakhand, calling it a historic initiative aimed at ensuring equal rights, dignity, and justice for women.
