In a proactive move, Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma conducted an unannounced inspection of the Rajasthan CM Helpline 181 on Wednesday, personally taking calls from citizens and ensuring their complaints were resolved promptly. The initiative highlights the government’s focus on transparency, accountability, and citizen satisfaction.
CM Bhajanlal Engages Directly With Citizens
During the surprise visit, CM Bhajanlal Sharma interacted with callers on Rajasthan CM Helpline 181, listening carefully to their issues and instructing officials to resolve them immediately. Citizens were reportedly surprised and pleased when they realized that the Chief Minister himself was on the line.
The CM emphasized that the purpose of Rajasthan CM Helpline 181 is not just to register complaints but to provide timely and effective solutions. He directed officials to handle every complaint with sensitivity, transparency, and accountability.

Immediate Resolution of Key Complaints
Two cases drew particular attention during the inspection. The first involved a resident of Churu who could not obtain a domicile certificate due to missing voter records from the last 10 years. Following the CM’s intervention via Rajasthan CM Helpline 181, the application was reprocessed through e-Mitra, and the certificate was promptly issued by the Tehsil office.
The second case involved a woman from Jaipur who complained about delays in LPG cylinder delivery. Acting on CM Bhajanlal’s instructions, officials ensured the immediate supply of the cylinder, earning positive feedback from the citizen.
Monitoring and Improvement
CM Bhajanlal thoroughly reviewed the functioning of Rajasthan CM Helpline 181, assessing complaint resolution procedures, citizen satisfaction levels, and staff performance. He instructed that regular performance reports of helpline employees be prepared and monitored to maintain efficiency and accountability.
He further stressed that all government departments must improve complaint resolution quality and consistently enhance citizen satisfaction, reinforcing the effectiveness of Rajasthan CM Helpline 181.
