Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma has directed authorities to take strict action against organized gangs involved in drug trafficking. He emphasized that a special action plan should be implemented to dismantle both small and large drug networks operating across the state.
During a high-level meeting of the Home Department at the Chief Minister’s residence on Tuesday, February 3, CM Sharma instructed the police and administrative officials to launch a special campaign aimed at making the state drug-free. He also called for tough legal action against gangsters and hardcore criminals, ensuring strict enforcement to curb the menace of drugs.
Dismantling Drug Networks:
CM Bhajanlal Sharma highlighted the importance of identifying the supply chain routes of drug networks and maintaining strict surveillance. He directed that all organized gangs involved in drug trafficking, regardless of their size, should be neutralized under the special action plan. Police, Drug Controllers, Health Department, and other agencies are required to coordinate their efforts for effective implementation. Sharma also emphasized proper legal follow-up against individuals arrested in drug-related cases.
Special Focus on Cyber Crimes:
The Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma also stressed prioritizing action against cyber crimes, particularly in regions where such incidents are rising. He directed that special campaigns be launched against cybercrime networks, continuing until such criminal activities are completely eliminated.

Regular Monitoring of Progress:
