Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma has praised the Union Budget 2026, calling it a roadmap for economic growth that balances national development with inclusive opportunities for all sections of society. The CM highlighted that the budget emphasizes creating opportunities for youth, women, farmers, and marginalized communities across the state.
Speaking at a press briefing, CM Bhajanlal Sharma described the budget as a manifestation of the principles of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas” (Together with all, Development for all, Trust of all, Efforts from all). He added that the budget sets a strong roadmap for rapid, sustainable, and inclusive economic growth, aiming to strengthen the country’s 7% growth rate while ensuring benefits reach even the last person in the queue.
According to the CM Bhajanlal Sharma, the budget focuses on three primary objectives: enhancing productivity and competitiveness to accelerate economic growth, empowering individuals by fulfilling their aspirations and building their capabilities, and ensuring meaningful access to resources and opportunities for every family, community, and region. He emphasized that this budget is dedicated to youth, women, farmers, and the economically disadvantaged.
Employment and Skill Development Initiatives
The budget highlights initiatives for youth employment and skill development. The CM Bhajanlal Sharma pointed out that new opportunities will be created through the Education-to-Employment Committee, a focus on the service sector, and training 100,000 elite professionals and 150,000 caregivers in the healthcare sector. In the tourism sector, tourist guides will receive training from premier institutes like the IIMs, boosting income potential. Additionally, 15,000 schools and 5,000 colleges will have content creator labs to foster innovation and future-ready skills.

Medical value tourism will receive a boost, and a custom duty exemption on 17 critical cancer drugs will ease the financial burden for patients.
