Rajasthan CM Bhajanlal Sharma launches Youth Policy 2026 and Employment Policy to create 15 lakh jobs by 2029. Recruitment calendar and youth entrepreneurship scheme announced.
Jaipur: Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma on Monday unveiled the Rajasthan Youth Policy 2026 and the Rajasthan Employment Policy 2026, reinforcing the state government’s commitment to empowering young citizens and accelerating economic growth. Addressing the closing ceremony of the State-Level Youth Festival, Sharma said the energy, creativity, and talent of young people will shape the future of Rajasthan.
The Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma highlighted that the government aims to ensure active youth participation in the journey towards a developed Rajasthan. He noted that focused efforts are being made to strengthen education, skill development, employment, entrepreneurship, innovation, and start-up culture across the state.
Youth-Centric Development Linked to Vision 2047
Referring to Swami Vivekananda’s historic vision that the 21st century belongs to India, Sharma said Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Viksit Bharat 2047 mission is translating that dream into action. According to him, Rajasthan’s new policies align with this national roadmap by preparing young citizens for emerging industries and future-ready careers.
The Chief Minister also emphasized that, for the first time, youth inputs were formally included in the state budget planning process. This participatory approach aims to ensure that policies reflect real aspirations and employment needs of young citizens.

Recruitment Calendar 2026 Announced
During the event, Bhajanlal Sharma released the Recruitment Examination Calendar 2026, which outlines the tentative schedule for nearly one lakh government job vacancies. This move is expected to help candidates plan their preparation more efficiently.
The vacancies include approximately 24,793 posts for sanitation workers, 10,644 positions for Clerk Grade-II and Junior Assistants, and around 10,000 posts in the Education Department, along with several openings across other government departments.
Interest-Free Loans for Young Entrepreneurs
The Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma also launched the Mukhyamantri Yuva Swarozgar Yojana, aimed at nurturing entrepreneurship among young people. Under the scheme, nearly one lakh youth will receive interest-free loans to establish micro-enterprises, enabling them to become self-reliant and generate local employment opportunities.
Expanding Opportunities Through Policy Reforms
Under the Rajasthan Youth Policy 2026, the government will focus on expanding access to education and skill training, particularly in emerging sectors such as technology, renewable energy, manufacturing, and digital services.
Meanwhile, the Rajasthan Employment Policy 2026 outlines a multi-dimensional strategy centered on job creation, enterprise development, and workforce readiness. The policy targets the creation of nearly 15 lakh employment opportunities by March 2029, strengthening Rajasthan’s economic ecosystem.
Sharma reiterated that the government remains committed to building a skilled, confident, and empowered youth population capable of driving long-term development and innovation across the state.
