Rajasthan CM Bhajanlal Sharma held a crucial meeting with top police officials to fast-track the investigation into the RPSC scam under the previous Congress government.
Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma convened a high-level meeting with senior police officials on Wednesday at the Chief Minister’s Office to discuss the ongoing investigations into the Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) scams that took place during the tenure of the previous Congress government.
During the meeting, CM Sharma emphasized that the layers of irregularities in these cases are being revealed daily and must be addressed with utmost seriousness. He directed police authorities to ensure strict and immediate action against those involved in corruption and malpractice, particularly those jeopardizing the future of the state’s youth.
Immediate Action and Investigation Directives
The Chief Minister issued instructions to the Chief Secretary V. Srinivas, Director General of Police Rajeev Kumar Sharma, along with SOG and ACB officials, to initiate swift action based on new evidence. CM Sharma also advised that the SOG should coordinate with the ACB wherever necessary to ensure comprehensive investigation and accountability.
