Rajasthan Recruitment Rules: Rajasthan government moves to resolve recruitment rule issues, potentially benefiting around 550 candidates linked to Junior Instructor recruitment.
Rajasthan Recruitment Rules: The Rajasthan government has initiated steps to resolve a technical discrepancy in recruitment service rules that could affect eligible candidates. The move is aimed at ensuring that deserving applicants do not lose employment opportunities because of administrative or technical shortcomings.
Under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, the Department of Skill, Employment and Entrepreneurship is working to address the issue that has remained unresolved since September 2023. The Rajasthan Recruitment Rules are being reviewed so that the recruitment process can move forward without creating difficulties for eligible candidates.
Government Moves to Resolve Technical Discrepancy
Skill, Employment and Entrepreneurship Minister Colonel Rajyavardhan Rathore has taken a keen interest in the matter and directed officials to find a quick and permanent solution in the interest of candidates.
The department’s objective is to ensure that a technical gap in the existing rules does not prevent eligible youngsters from securing employment. Officials have been asked to work within the prescribed legal framework while protecting the interests of candidates.
DGT Guidelines Were Missing From Service Rules
The issue reportedly emerged after certain guidelines issued by the Directorate General of Training (DGT) could not be incorporated into the service rules framed in September 2023.
As a result, a technical and legal complication arose during the recent recruitment process involving around 200 candidates. Instead of keeping the matter pending, the department began examining possible solutions to protect the interests of eligible applicants.
The proposed changes in the Rajasthan Recruitment Rules are expected to help remove the procedural hurdle and allow the recruitment process to progress in a transparent manner.

Recruitment for Around 2,500 Junior Instructor Posts Underway
Alongside resolving the rules-related issue, the department is also accelerating recruitment for approximately 2,500 Junior Instructor posts.
Around 1,150 candidates have already been appointed, while recommendations for nearly 450 candidates were earlier forwarded to the Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSSB).
Of these, results for 100 candidates were released on August 17, 2026. The remaining recommendations and results are also being processed.
Around 550 Candidates Could Benefit
Another group of nearly 350 candidates whose recommendations are already pending with RSSB could also benefit once the technical discrepancy in the service rules is resolved.
Taken together, around 550 candidates are expected to gain from the government’s corrective measures. The move could make the path to employment easier for candidates connected with the Junior Instructor recruitment process.
For these applicants, the resolution of the Rajasthan Recruitment Rules issue is particularly important because their recruitment prospects have been affected by a procedural complication rather than a lack of eligibility.
Candidate Interests Remain a Priority
Minister Rajyavardhan Rathore has emphasised that completing recruitment is not the government’s only objective. The administration also wants to ensure that eligible candidates do not lose employment opportunities because of technical or administrative shortcomings.
The government has said that recruitment procedures will be made more transparent, time-bound and candidate-focused. At the same time, shortcomings in older systems and rules will be addressed wherever necessary.
Recruitment Process Expected to Gain Momentum
The department’s latest initiative is expected to provide relief to hundreds of candidates waiting for clarity on their recruitment prospects. Once the relevant technical issue is resolved, pending recommendations and other stages of the selection process can move ahead under the applicable rules.
The government is also focusing on ensuring that future recruitment exercises do not face similar procedural complications. The Rajasthan Recruitment Rules issue has therefore become an important part of the department’s efforts to streamline employment-related processes.
For candidates waiting for appointments or recommendations, the development offers hope of progress. The Rajasthan Recruitment Rules will now be examined and corrected within the applicable framework, with the government maintaining that eligible candidates’ interests will remain the priority.
