Jaipur: At the Rajasthan State Youth Festival, Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma emphasized the government’s vision of empowering youth to become job creators rather than job seekers. Speaking at the event, CM Sharma highlighted the state’s ongoing efforts to support education, sports, startups, and skill development among young people.
Promoting Sports and Equal Opportunities
CM Bhajanlal Sharma assured that young athletes will continue to receive strong support from the government. He highlighted the successful organization of Inter-University Khelo India events and stated that no athlete should lag due to a lack of resources. The government aims to provide equal opportunities for all youth to excel in sports, education, and entrepreneurship.
Employment Initiatives and Job Calendar
Addressing youth aspirations, CM Bhajanlal Sharma said, “We have released a one-year job calendar, ensuring that examinations are conducted on time and jobs are provided without delay. What we have achieved so far is only the beginning.” He urged young people to pursue new languages, skills, and knowledge, encouraging them to contribute to making Rajasthan a developed state.
Accountability and Governance
Targeting opposition claims, CM Bhajanlal Sharma stated that previous governments had failed the youth by not fulfilling employment promises. He said, “We have conducted 351 examinations smoothly, proving our commitment to youth employment. We will continue to meet the expectations of Rajasthan’s youth with transparency and accountability.”

Earlier, Sports Minister Rajvardhan Rathore highlighted the innovative opportunities being created for youth in Rajasthan. He said, “With over 7,500 startups running in the state, young people’s ideas have the power to transform Rajasthan and the nation.
