CM Nayab Singh Saini met Rohtak fire victims and announced ₹10 lakh compensation for families of deceased and relief for affected people.

Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini visited Rohtak following the tragic fire incident and met the affected families to share their grief. He expressed deep condolences over the loss of lives and prayed for the speedy recovery of those injured in the accident.

The Chief Minister described the incident as extremely painful and heartbreaking, stating that the entire state stands firmly with the affected families in this difficult time. He assured that the Haryana government is committed to providing all possible support and relief.

CM Saini announced a compensation package for the victims’ families. The next of kin of those who lost their lives will receive ₹10 lakh each as ex-gratia assistance. In addition, shopkeepers affected by the fire will be given ₹5 lakh each, while street vendors (rehri-phari operators) will receive ₹50,000 as financial aid.

He emphasized that the government’s priority is not only financial assistance but also ensuring emotional and social support for the victims to help them recover from the tragedy.

The Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini directed officials to ensure immediate distribution of relief funds and proper rehabilitation of affected families without any delay.

He further stated that a detailed investigation will be conducted into the incident, and necessary measures will be taken to prevent such tragedies in the future. The government, he said, remains fully committed to safeguarding the lives and livelihoods of citizens.
