Samsung Galaxy A35 5G
The Galaxy A35 5G, the more expensive phone of the two, has a 6.6-inch Super AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The panel is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus+.
Under the hood, the phone is powered by Samsung’s own Exynos 1380 chipset and packs 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 1TB via an external microSD card.
The smartphone also has a triple rear camera setup that includes a 50MP primary camera with OIS (Optical Image Stabilization), an 8MP secondary ultra-wide camera and a 5MP macro camera. There’s also a 13-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling.
Finally, the phone packs a 5,000mAh battery with support for 25W fast charging and runs OneUI 6.1 based on Android 14. Samsung also promises 4 years of software updates for the phone.

Samsung Galaxy A55 5G
The Samsung Galaxy A55 5G has the same 6.6-inch Super AMOLED display that supports a 120Hz refresh rate and the same 5,000mAh battery. The phone’s cameras and processor differentiate it from the A35 5G.
The Samsung Galaxy A55 is slightly more powerful thanks to the Exynos 1480 chipset and can be purchased with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The phone runs on Android 14 with One UI 6.1.
There is a triple rear camera that includes a 50MP primary camera with OIS, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle camera and a 5MP macro camera. There’s also a 32MP high-resolution front-facing camera for selfies and video calling.

The company has not yet announced pricing and availability details for the Galaxy A35 5G and Galaxy A55 5G. However, the details are expected to be announced this week, March 14th.
