The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) will participate in a joint Opposition protest outside the Delhi Chief Electoral Officer’s (CEO) office in Kashmere Gate on Wednesday over allegations of ‘vote-chori’ or vote theft. The protest is scheduled to begin at 1 pm and will bring together leaders and workers from several Opposition parties, including the Congress and Left parties.
AAP Delhi State President Saurabh Bharadwaj announced the party’s participation and urged AAP leaders, workers and supporters to join the demonstration in large numbers.
Opposition Parties to Join Sit-In Protest
According to Saurabh Bharadwaj, the protest has been called by Opposition parties and will see participation from the Congress, Left parties and the AAP. The leaders and workers are expected to gather outside the Delhi CEO’s office in Kashmere Gate and hold a sit-in over concerns related to alleged irregularities in the electoral process.
The AAP has maintained that its cadre will participate whenever Opposition parties organise protests on the streets over issues concerning democracy and elections.

AAP Appeals to Workers to Participate
Saurabh Bharadwaj appealed to party leaders, workers and supporters to turn up in maximum numbers and contribute to making the demonstration successful. He said the AAP would actively participate in the joint Opposition programme.
The protest is expected to provide a common platform for Opposition parties to raise their concerns regarding what they describe as ‘vote-chori’.
AAP Reaffirms Participation in Opposition Campaign
Speaking about the planned demonstration, Saurabh Bharadwaj said the AAP had been invited by the Congress and Left parties to participate in the protest at the Delhi CEO’s office.
He reiterated that the party would stand with other Opposition groups during street protests and said AAP workers would actively participate in Wednesday’s sit-in.
Saurabh Bharadwaj said the Congress, Left parties and AAP would jointly take part in the demonstration, highlighting the Opposition’s concerns over alleged vote theft.
The planned protest at the Delhi CEO’s office is likely to bring several Opposition leaders and workers together as they seek to raise electoral concerns before the city’s election authorities.
