In a major move, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has announced a significant relief for candidates preparing for UP Police and Jail Department recruitment. Under the CM’s directive, an age relaxation of three years has been granted for all categories in the direct recruitment process, covering a total of 32,679 vacancies. This decision brings relief to aspirants applying for posts like Constables, PAC, Women Battalion, and Jail Warders.
According to the official notification, the 3-year age relaxation applies to all candidates across categories for direct recruitment in the UP Police and Jail Department. The recruitment includes positions in Constable Civil Police, PAC (Provincial Armed Constabulary), Special Security Force, Women Battalion, and Jail Warders. The government has already issued the formal order to implement this change.
