In a major administrative reshuffle, the UP Government, led by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, has transferred 46 IAS officers across the state. The large-scale overhaul, announced on October 28, includes changes in key posts such as divisional commissioners, district magistrates (DMs), chief development officers, and municipal commissioners.
Key District Magistrate Transfers Across Uttar Pradesh
As part of this major bureaucratic shake-up, 10 district magistrates have been transferred to new postings, reflecting the government’s focus on strengthening local administration and governance.

Atul Vats, who was serving as Vice-Chairman of the Ghaziabad Development Authority, has been appointed as District Magistrate (DM) of Hathras.

Ajay Kumar Dwivedi, earlier DM of Shravasti, will now serve as DM of Rampur.

Krittika Jyotsna takes over as DM of Basti, while Rajaganapathi R. becomes DM of Sitapur.

Pulkit Garg has been appointed DM of Chitrakoot, and Ravish Gupta will now serve as Managing Director of Paschimanchal Vidyut Vitran Nigam.
Rampur Gets New DM; Key Departmental Reassignments
IAS officer Joginder Singh, who was serving as DM of Rampur, has been transferred to Special Secretary, Namami Gange and Rural Water Supply Department. His previous role in Rampur will now be handled by Ajay Kumar Dwivedi.
