Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami meets State Teachers’ Union leaders in Dehradun, assures timely resolution of teachers’ demands and directs follow-up meeting to address issues effectively.
On Wednesday, senior leaders of the State Teachers’ Union met with Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami at the Chief Minister’s residence to discuss various demands and issues faced by government teachers in Uttarakhand. The meeting aimed to address the concerns raised by the teaching community and seek prompt solutions.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami attentively listened to the grievances and assured the teachers’ representatives that their demands would be prioritized and resolved on a timely basis. Demonstrating a positive approach, the CM emphasized the government’s commitment to addressing the issues effectively.
During the meeting, CM Pushkar Singh Dhami instructed the personnel secretary to convene a follow-up meeting within a week. This session will include the Education Secretary, Director General of School Education, and representatives from the State Teachers’ Union to review the demands and decide on further action. The Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami Pushkar Singh Dhamialso emphasized that all future proceedings should be conducted in accordance with existing rules and regulations pertaining to the teachers’ demands.
The meeting was attended by Personnel Secretary Shailesh Bagoli, Additional Secretary Banshidhar Tiwari, State Teachers’ Union President Ram Singh Chauhan, General Secretary Ramesh Panyuli, Vice President Rajkumar Chaudhary, and other key officials.
This initiative is seen as a positive step towards strengthening government-school education in Uttarakhand by ensuring the welfare and rights of teachers are adequately addressed.
