Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami visited AIIMS Rishikesh to check on Tourism Minister Satpal Maharaj’s health. The CM also extended heartfelt Hindu New Year greetings, performing rituals and prayers for prosperity, well-being, and progress in the state.
Rishikesh, Uttarakhand: Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami visited AIIMS Rishikesh on Thursday to inquire about the health of state Tourism Minister Satpal Maharaj. The CM also received updates from doctors regarding Maharaj’s condition, following his admission to the ICU due to a slight health deterioration.
Medical Superintendent of AIIMS Rishikesh, Satya Sree Balicha, informed that Maharaj’s health is now stable. “He was admitted in the ICU after a minor deterioration in his condition, but he is now stable. His vitals are normal, and there is no cause for concern,” Balicha said.
During the day, CM Pushkar Singh Dhami performed traditional religious rituals at his residence on the occasion of the Hindu New Year and the first day of Chaitra Navratri. He conducted a havan, offered prayers, and performed Jalaabhishek to Lord Shiva, seeking blessings for the people of Uttarakhand.
CM Dhami prayed to Maa Adi Shakti Bhagwati and Lord Mahadev for the well-being, happiness, and prosperity of all residents. He emphasized the importance of unity, harmony, and progress in the state, invoking divine blessings for development and public welfare.
