Uttarakhand NEWS : On the completion of three years of the present government, Seva Diwas will be celebrated in the state on March 23. My every moment is dedicated to the development of the state.
The Chief Minister, during a virtual meeting from Delhi to mark the completion of three years of the present government, directed the officials to organise various programmes in the state from March 22 to 25. Effective initiatives should also be taken to engage the public in these events. Directing that March 23 be observed as Seva Diwas, the Chief Minister said that multipurpose camps be organised up to the block level to mark the completion of three years of the government.
Health camps will be organised. The needy people should be provided with health related equipment as well as benefit from various schemes of the government. People’s representatives should also be involved in the work related to public servants. The Chief Minister said though he was on a visit to Delhi, his mind was devoted to the development of the state at every moment. He said that people from every section and region of the society should be included in the programs organized to commemorate the three years of the government. The success stories of those working in different fields should be disseminated to the general public. The Chief Minister said that in this period of three years, many paradigms of development have been established in accordance with the aspirations of the people of the state. Many such decisions have been taken which are absolutely necessary in the interest of the state. Historic laws like Uniform Civil Code, strict anti-copying were enacted, which gave the state a distinct identity at the national level. For the first time, the state budget has crossed Rs 1 lakh crore to strengthen the state’s economy.
The Chief Minister directed the officials that along with the promotion of natural water sources of the state, efforts should be made at the ground level for the revival of chalkhals, wells, gadgaders. The Chief Minister also directed to ensure adequate supply of drinking water across the state in view of the upcoming summer season.
