Disgruntled saffron party leader Vijay Sampla is rumored to be considering a run for the BJP seat in Hoshiarpur, where MoS Som Parkash’s wife Anita Som Parkash is the party’s nominee.
While Vijay Sampla refuted his intention to run for office, his associates stated that the senior leader was in negotiations with multiple parties and would fight from Hoshiarpur “at all costs.”
The open feud could have a negative impact on the BJP’s chances in Hoshiarpur, which is one of the saffron party’s strongholds in the state.
This seat was won by Sampla in 2014 and Som Parkash in 2019.
“Vijay Sampla will not relinquish the claim over Hoshiarpur,” according to sources. He is negotiating with a number of stakeholders. He is also eligible to run as an independent. The public is not pleased with Sampla’s marginalization. Anita is a dynast, right?
