Zerodha CEO on the Impact of Organic Eating: “Can’t Go Back to Restaurant Food”
Zerodha co-founder Nithin Kamath recently said something a lot of us might actually relate to — he can’t eat outside food anymore. Not because he’s too busy or anything, but because he’s just so used to healthy, home-cooked meals that restaurant food doesn’t feel right anymore.

In a conversation with agriculture expert Shashi Kumar, Kamath shared how clean eating has completely changed his lifestyle. “I can’t eat outside food at all now. I’m so used to eating organic, healthy food at home that it’s almost impossible to eat outside,” the Zerodha CEO admitted.
For someone running one of India’s biggest trading platforms, Zerodha, you’d think he’d be all about fast life and quicker meals — but it’s the total opposite.
Eating Clean Is the New Cool?
According to health experts, this lifestyle shift actually makes a lot of sense. Dietitian Deepalakshmi from Chennai told indianexpress.com that outside food is often full of sugar, salt, and bad fats. That means more risk of things like weight gain, tiredness, and even long-term issues like heart problems.
