Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath conducted an on-site inspection of the venue for the Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show (UPITS 2025) in Greater Noida on Friday. The event, scheduled to be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on September 25, is poised to become a global platform to showcase Uttar Pradesh’s rich cultural heritage, economic potential, and local entrepreneurship.
During his visit, CM Yogi emphasized that the international trade show will play a pivotal role in presenting the diversity, traditional crafts, and business talent of Uttar Pradesh on a global stage. He noted that the event will create new opportunities for local producers, build international business networks, and drive investment and employment across the state.
Focus on ODOP, Youth Engagement, and Local Empowerment
Highlighting the importance of the One District One Product (ODOP) initiative, the Chief Minister instructed officials to ensure participation from all 75 districts of the state. Each district will have a dedicated stall to exhibit its signature ODOP products, ranging from handicrafts and khadi to local food items and industrial goods.

Yogi Adityanath also called for active youth participation, urging colleges and universities across Uttar Pradesh to promote UPITS 2025 on their campuses. He directed institutions to display posters, digital screens, and information kiosks about the trade show. Students from Gautam Buddha University will play a key role in supporting the event, gaining valuable hands-on experience in entrepreneurship and event management.
Fashion Shows and Film Industry Integration- International Trade Show
To boost visibility for khadi clothing, handicrafts, and village industry products, the event will feature a special fashion show. Experts from the Indian film industry will be invited to attend, helping promote UP’s traditional crafts to a wider audience. The move aims to create fresh opportunities for young designers, weavers, and artisans.
