Samsung’s highly anticipated Galaxy S26 series may arrive later than expected, according to fresh leaks from South Korea. Reports from The Elec indicate that Samsung has pushed back its mass production schedule, potentially moving the launch from its usual January window to March 2026.

Mass Production Timeline and Delays

The Galaxy S26 Ultra is now expected to enter production in December 2025, while the standard Galaxy S26 and S26 Plus will follow in January 2026. Initially, all three models were slated for December production, but the cancellation of the Galaxy S26 Edge variant has disrupted the manufacturing pipeline. The mid-tier Galaxy S26 Plus reportedly requires additional development, causing a slight delay. As a result, the Ultra model will hit production first, followed by the base and Plus models, pushing the launch timeline beyond Samsung’s typical early-year schedule.
