Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav  said that Late Shri Arjun Singh was a leader deeply committed to the development and welfare of Madhya Pradesh. Mohan Yadav took visionary decisions for the State’s progress and played a pivotal role in shaping its political landscape. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that Late Shri Arjun Singh was among the most influential personalities of the 1980s, having served three terms as Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh and also as Governor of Punjab. As Union Minister for Human Resource Development, he made notable contributions to the nation’s development. He consistently stood with the poor and the backward classes, always remaining at the forefront of efforts for the upliftment of the underprivileged.

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav further mentioned that during his tenure as Union Human Resource Development Minister, Late Shri Arjun Singh established the Sandipani Ved Vidya Pratishthan in Ujjain, made provisions for the promotion and teaching of Vedic studies, and set up an academic chair in Ujjain to support traditional learning. His contributions in the field of education were remarkable.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that on the occasion of the 95th birth anniversary of Late Shri Arjun Singh, we all fondly remember his noble deeds and invaluable service to the State and the nation.
