During a massive rally in Motihari, CM Yogi Adityanath attacked Congress and RJD, highlighting Modi government achievements and promising a development-focused, crime-free Bihar under NDA.
During the Bihar election campaign, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath delivered a strong attack on Congress and RJD in a massive public rally held in Motihari on Saturday, November 8. Highlighting the achievements of the Modi government, CM Yogi urged voters to choose a government focused on development, security, and good governance.
Addressing the crowd, CM Yogi stated that Bihar has already sent a clear signal in the first phase of voting – the era of dim lanterns is over, and voters now demand a Bihar that shines brightly under the NDA’s LED-like governance. He emphasized that on November 14, the people would witness the formation of a government committed to progress and law and order, rather than criminals controlling the state.
CM Yogi Highlights Bihar’s Heritage and Opposition Failures
CM Yogi praised Bihar as a land of great heritage, once home to Maa Janki, Mahatma Gandhi, and scholars like Chanakya, Aryabhatta, Buddha, and Mahavir. He criticized the previous Congress and RJD governments for failing to harness Bihar’s talent and intelligence, keeping the state underdeveloped for political gain.
He noted that under the leadership of Nitish Kumar and the NDA government, Bihar has seen significant infrastructure development over the past two decades, including improved road networks, railways, airports, inland waterways, metro services, and the establishment of premier institutions such as IITs, NITs, IIMs, AIIMS, and medical colleges.

Strict Action Against Crime and Mafia
CM Yogi highlighted his government’s strict action against criminals and mafias in Uttar Pradesh, including bulldozer drives to dismantle criminal networks. He asserted that Bihar must also be kept free of criminal influence, ensuring safety and stability for its citizens.
Ram Mandir and Ayodhya Developments
CM Yogi also spoke about the monumental development in Ayodhya under PM Modi’s leadership. He highlighted the establishment of Maharsi Valmiki Airport, Nishaadraj Rest House, and Mata Shabari community kitchens. He also mentioned that the Ram Janaki Marg connecting Ayodhya to Sitamarhi has been sanctioned for ₹6155 crores and work has begun, alongside the expressway linking Gorakhpur to Siliguri via Motihari, which will boost economic corridors.
Achievements of the Modi Government
CM Yogi praised the Modi government for empowering the poor with initiatives such as free ration for 80 crore citizens, health insurance for 50 crore people, PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi for 12 crore farmers, Ujjwala Yojana LPG connections for 10 crore families, and PM Awas Yojana for 4 crore poor families. He contrasted this with the previous Congress regime, which forced people to pay exorbitant fees for basic facilities like gas connections.
Targeting Opposition Candidates
The CM criticized Mahagathbandhan candidates, highlighting criminal cases against them, including murder, robbery, and kidnapping. He stressed that criminals and mafias do not follow religion, caste, or community—they only pursue crime—and the society must remain vigilant against them.
CM Yogi concluded by reaffirming NDA’s commitment to law, order, development, and a prosperous Bihar, calling upon voters to ensure the state remains free of criminal influence and on the path of progress.
