John Campbell Returns to ODI Fold
John Campbell, the star opening batter, impressed fans in domestic cricket over the last few seasons, and his return to the ODI setup comes as a boost for the Windies. Campbell had an outstanding performance in the Super50 Cup, emerging as Jamaica’s leading run-scorer with 278 runs in seven matches at a strike rate of 102.20. His inclusion is expected to strengthen West Indies’ top order and add experience to the batting lineup.
Alongside Campbell, pacer Johann Layne and all-rounder Shamar Springer have also received their maiden call-ups to the ODI side, offering fresh talent to the squad and a new dimension in both bowling and fielding.
West Indies Aim for Redemption in ODIs

The team will aim to capitalize on the return of experienced players like Campbell while integrating promising newcomers to improve their performance.
