Bobby Deol was seen for the first time since the passing of his legendary father, Dharmendra, as he quietly arrived at the veteran actor’s prayer meet at Taj Lands End, Mumbai, on November 28. The actor maintained a low profile, seated inside his car and avoiding the paparazzi present outside the venue.
Dharmendra, a Bollywood icon, passed away on November 24, 2025, leaving fans and the film industry in mourning. Prominent stars like Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, and Aamir Khan had attended his funeral to pay their last respects.

Prayer Meet Details
The prayer meet for Dharmendra is being held at Seaside Lawns, Taj Lands End, Bandra, giving fans, friends, and well-wishers a chance to come together to honor the veteran actor. The Deol family shared a touching invitation on social media with a throwback photograph of Dharmendra and the note: “Dharmendra, 8 December 1935 – 24 November 2025. Prayer meet on 27 November 2025, 5:00 pm to 7:30 pm.” Reports suggest that singer Sonu Nigam will pay tribute by performing some of Dharmendra’s most iconic songs during the gathering.

Bobby Deol’s First Public Appearance
Since Dharmendra’s hospitalization and eventual passing, Bobby Deol has largely stayed away from public appearances. On Thursday, he was photographed arriving discreetly at the prayer meet, concealing his face with his hand as he made his way to the venue.
Other attendees included Sharman Joshi, Arhaan Khan, Amrita Arora, and Seema Sajdeh, who came to pay their respects. Sunny Deol and the rest of the Deol family were expected to join soon after Bobby’s arrival.
