He also shared a personal anecdote, highlighting his father’s commitment to service even after retiring from the army, reflecting a culture of dedication and hard work.

Focus on Development and National Security
CM Pushkar Singh Dhami underlined the government’s focus on self-reliance in defense production. He stated that India no longer depends on other countries for small defense equipment and is now supplying defense products globally. The state’s exports are projected to rise from ₹30,000 crore to ₹50,000 crore under ongoing development initiatives.
He further stressed vigilance against threats in the region, including infiltration attempts and demographic changes. CM Dhami affirmed the government’s determination to preserve Uttarakhand’s culture and prevent illegal encroachments, revealing that over 10,000 hectares of land have been reclaimed from unauthorized occupation.
“We are committed to stopping practices like love jihad and other illegal activities, and have removed over 500 unauthorized shrines with blue, green, and yellow coverings,” CM Pushkar Singh Dhami added.
