Tara Sutaria opens up about protecting her personal life, staying selective in Bollywood, and balancing fame with authenticity.

Bollywood actress Tara Sutaria, known for her roles in Student of the Year 2, Marjaavaan, and Ek Villain Returns, has opened up about keeping her personal life private and navigating fame on her own terms. In an exclusive interview with Hindustan Times, Tara shared how she carefully balances her professional commitments with her personal space.

Having spent over six years in the industry, Tara Sutaria  acknowledges the constant public scrutiny that comes with fame. Yet, she emphasizes that her private life is sacred and firmly believes in maintaining boundaries. “I’m very protective of my personal life. I share what I’m comfortable with, and I keep the rest sacred,” Tara Sutaria  said. She added that family and close friends keep her grounded amidst the pressures of the spotlight.

The actress, who debuted in Bollywood with Student of the Year 2, also spoke about her relationship with Veer Pahariya. Despite occasional social media glimpses and public sightings, Tara Sutaria  has chosen not to discuss her relationship publicly, preferring to maintain a degree of privacy.

When asked about navigating fame and the constant attention, Tara Sutaria  revealed her strategy: “I navigate the scrutiny and attention that comes with fame with grace and perspective. I’ve learned not to take everything personally and to focus on the love, not the noise.” She also highlighted that disconnecting from social media and spending time with her inner circle helps her maintain mental balance.

On the professional front, Tara Sutaria  shared her approach to her Bollywood career. She believes in taking projects at her own pace, focusing on quality and authenticity rather than rushing for commercial success. “I want my choices to reflect quality and honesty. I want to grow with every project I take on,” she said. Tara Sutaria  further explained that staying true to herself helps her deal with the pressure to conform to industry norms. “Authenticity always shines through, even when it’s not the easiest route,” she added.

The actress has also explored the digital space, featuring in the OTT project Apurva and recently appearing in a music video alongside Ishaan Khatter. However, she remains selective with her projects, stating, “It’s not always easy to stay selective, but it’s worth it. I’d rather wait for the right story than take on something that doesn’t feel authentic.”
