Isudan Gadhvi, the Gujarat State President of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), attended the Nyay Yatra organized at Modhwada, Porbandar today. Speaking to the media, he said that the AAP team, led by District General Secretary Hitesh Modhwadiya, with the blessings of Limbai Mata, has started the seven-day Nyay Yatra from Modhwada. This Yatra will travel to various villages over seven days, listening to the people’s issues, problems, and public grievances. The party will then raise these concerns with the government machinery to seek solutions.
He said, “We have started this Nyay Yatra because farmers are being exploited, and the poor and marginalized are being oppressed. In the US, farmers receive subsidies of 5.4 million INR, whereas our farmers barely get 21,000 INR. Moreover, under US pressure, the Indian government is reducing farmers’ subsidies day by day.”
“We are seeing that farmers are leaving agriculture. If people abandon farming in an agriculture-based country, how will the nation sustain itself? Those who are rooted in farming are leaving it today. This is a conspiracy to allow industrialists to take over farming. Later, if industrialists sell wheat at 5,000 INR per 20kg, the poor and middle class will not be able to survive. This is why we have launched this Yatra.”

The Yatra started from the Limbai Mata Temple in Modhwada and will continue through various villages for seven days, concluding at Visawada of Lord Dwarkadhish. However, the program will not stop here; similar small and large Yatras will be organized in other districts and cities as well.
“This journey is not only to provide justice to farmers but also to save them, because if this does not happen, India could remain under industrialist control for the next 100–200 years. We have embarked on this mission to fight for this cause,” he added.
Addressing the ruling party, he said, “You have two years. If you truly want to work, cancel farmers’ debts, resolve pending applications related to farmer schemes, regulate the Seed Corporation so farmers get quality seeds at affordable prices, reduce production costs, provide adequate fertilizers and subsidized fertilizers. Ensure farmers can grow three crops and receive fair prices, with MSP procurement announced. If the government does all this in the next two years, we will congratulate the ruling party. Also, I want to say that now there is no visible third party in Gujarat.”
