Ex-Pakistan cricketer Imad Wasim’s wife Sannia Ashfaq shares emotional Instagram post, alleging third-party involvement led to their divorce and reveals impact on their children.

Former Pakistan cricketer Imad Wasim and his wife Sannia Ashfaq have officially announced their divorce, with Ashfaq sharing an emotional message on social media. In her heartfelt post, she claimed that a third-party involvement contributed to the breakdown of their marriage, stating that “her home has been broken.”

The couple, who married on August 26, 2019, in Islamabad, share three children together. Sannia Ashfaq revealed that despite her continuous efforts to maintain their family, including caring for their youngest five-month-old child, the presence of someone intent on marrying Imad Wasim indirectly led to the collapse of their union.

Writing on Instagram, Ashfaq said, “I am writing this from a place of deep pain. My home has been broken, and my children have been left without their father. This is not a story I wished to share, but silence should never be mistaken for weakness.”

She added, “Like many marriages, ours had its challenges, but I remained committed both as a wife and a mother. Ultimately, the involvement of a third party became the final blow to an already struggling marriage. After much reflection, I have filed for divorce. I will continue to care for our children fully and responsibly. I request everyone to respect our privacy and avoid spreading false narratives.”

Sannia also warned that any attempt to defame the family or involve others in this personal matter would be addressed through legal channels if necessary.
