South Indian actress Krithi Shetty, who has made a name for herself in Tamil and Telugu cinema over the past six years, is reportedly being considered for her Bollywood debut. Rumors have linked her to a film opposite Tiger Shroff, directed by Milap Milan Zaveri, but the actress has clarified that no official agreement has been signed yet.
Krithi Addresses the Rumors
Krithi Shetty has recently been spotted in Mumbai, fueling speculation about her Hindi film debut. Speaking about her Bollywood plans, she said, “I have had a few offers, but sometimes the dates did not align and the Hindi industry has a very different working process. They usually do all the schedules together, whereas in the South, it is a little more scattered. So for that reason, it did not work out or it just didn’t align to what I wanted to do then as my first movie.”

The actress expressed excitement about entering Hindi cinema. Being born and raised in Mumbai, she feels comfortable with the language and confident in her ability to deliver dialogues naturally, unlike her work in Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam films, which she had to learn.
Why Bollywood Feels Right for Krithi
Krithi Shetty explained that her experience with Hindi dialogues during acting workshops has prepared her well for the transition. “Since I grew up speaking Hindi, all the dialogues in workshops were easier and quicker to learn. There’s something very different and fresh about it. The process really makes me feel excited about working in Hindi as I know the language and won’t have to learn it. I know what the words actually mean. Hopefully it will all happen soon,” she added.
A Promising Career Ahead
Krithi Shetty has steadily built a strong career in South Indian cinema and is now ready to explore new opportunities in Bollywood. While fans eagerly await confirmation of her debut, her positive attitude and preparation indicate she is ready to make a seamless transition into Hindi films.
As one of the promising young talents of Indian cinema, Krithi Shetty’s entry into Bollywood is anticipated to bring a fresh face and versatility to the industry, potentially alongside big names like Tiger Shroff.
