Forest and Environment Minister Sanjay Sharma highlighted fulfilling citizens’ needs and making Alwar clean and beautiful, while promoting water projects, infrastructure development, and tree plantation initiatives.

Forest and Environment Minister (Independent Charge), Sanjay Sharma, participated in multiple programs across Alwar on Sunday, emphasizing the state government’s commitment to fulfilling the fundamental needs of citizens and ensuring the city remains clean and beautiful.

While addressing the public, Minister Sanjay Sharma extended New Year greetings and wished for the progressive development of Alwar. He highlighted that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, the state government has executed historic initiatives in drinking water, infrastructure, and electricity supply, significantly improving citizens’ quality of life. The minister stressed that maintaining a clean and aesthetically appealing city is the responsibility of everyone.

Citizens Felicitate Minister Sanjay Sharma

Local residents honored Minister Sharma with garlands, appreciating the work carried out in their wards and across the city, including improvements in drinking water and roads. Speaking on the occasion, Sharma noted that Alwar has received special government provisions aimed at accelerating all-round development in the region. He added that to address the city’s drinking water issues, the entire MLA fund allocation for one year has been dedicated to water supply projects, improving the city’s water infrastructure.

Following this, Minister Sharma planted saplings at the Guru Nanak Lung Vatika in Mungska, as part of his daily plantation initiative, promoting environmental protection. He urged citizens to participate actively in the “One Tree in Mother’s Name” campaign launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, emphasizing proper care and nurturing of the saplings planted in their mothers’ names.
