The highly anticipated sequel to Aditya Dhar’s blockbuster spy thriller is finally here. Dhurandhar 2, officially titled Dhurandhar: The Revenge, saw its teaser release on Tuesday, offering fans a glimpse of Ranveer Singh’s fierce return as Jaskirat aka Hamza. The teaser promises an intense revenge saga, with Hamza taking on the Pakistani terror network and bringing the epic Dhurandhar story to a climactic conclusion.

Dhurandhar 2 Teaser Sparks Mixed Reactions

Jio Studios released the teaser around noon, showcasing Hamza’s relentless rise in Karachi’s underworld. Action-packed sequences feature the return of Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan, and Arjun Rampal, while Ranveer’s character prepares for his ultimate showdown against terror networks.

However, not all fans were impressed. Many noticed that the teaser largely recycled footage from the first film’s end credits. Social media reactions reflected the disappointment:

“This is the same. No new visual,” wrote one fan.

Another added, “Aditya Dhar scammed us in the name of the teaser.”

Despite the criticism, some fans appreciated the suspenseful approach. “I’m glad they didn’t show everything. Teasers are meant to build curiosity,” noted another.

First Look Poster Revealed

Earlier on Tuesday, Ranveer Singh shared the first look of Dhurandhar 2 on Instagram. The poster features a rain-soaked Ranveer bathed in red light, symbolizing the blood-soaked path of revenge his character will tread. Captioning the image, Ranveer wrote:
“Ab Bigadne Ka Waqt Aa Gaya Hai”—a warning that Hamza is ready to strike hard against the Baloch gang and ISI.

The actor confirmed that the film will release in cinemas worldwide on 19th March 2026 in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam, making it one of the biggest multilingual Bollywood releases of the year.
