The India Passport Ranking 2026 has recorded a decline, with India moving down one spot to 125th position in the latest Global Passport Index released by Global Citizen Solutions (GCS). The report revealed that several developed nations have experienced declines in recent years. The United States, which ranked first in 2021, has dropped to 12th place in 2026.
Canada, Australia, and New Zealand have also seen their rankings fall, with changing immigration policies and reciprocal visa restrictions affecting their mobility scores.
