Shweta Tiwari grabs attention in The Traitors Season 2 trailer with a candid remark about catching her former husbands cheating.
The trailer of The Traitors Season 2 has already created plenty of buzz, and Shweta Tiwari is one of the contestants grabbing attention with a sharp personal remark. During a conversation with host Karan Johar, the actor spoke about her ability to identify lies and made a pointed reference to her past marriages.
The reality show revolves around trust, deception and strategy, making Shweta’s comment particularly interesting ahead of the new season.
Shweta Tiwari says she caught her husbands cheating
In the trailer, Karan Johar challenges Shweta Tiwari over her confidence in detecting lies. He suggests that she may not be as skilled at spotting falsehoods as she claims.
Shweta responds with a bold statement, saying that she had personally caught her husbands while they were cheating. Her remark immediately stands out because of its connection to her previous relationships.
The moment has added a personal layer to the trailer, especially as the upcoming show is built around contestants trying to deceive one another without being caught.
Shweta Tiwari’s marriages to Raja Chaudhary and Abhinav Kohli
Shweta Tiwari married actor Raja Chaudhary in 1998. Their relationship later went through difficulties, and the couple separated in 2007 before eventually ending their marriage through divorce.
Years later, she married actor Abhinav Kohli in 2013. Their relationship also eventually ended in separation.
While the actor’s comment in the trailer does not spell out details about either relationship, the reference has naturally drawn attention because of her well-known personal history.
The Traitors Season 2 shifts to Jaisalmer
The second season of The Traitors takes the reality competition to the grand Suryagarh Palace in Jaisalmer. This time, 21 celebrity participants will enter the game, where trust, alliances and deception will determine who survives until the end.
With contestants required to identify the people secretly playing as traitors, the ability to read body language, recognise suspicious behaviour and question other players could prove crucial.
