The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in Gujarat has announced the launch of the Adivasi Nyay Yatra in support of MLA Chaitar Vasava. According to AAP Gujarat state organisation minister Niranjan Vasava, the march will begin from Umargam on Saturday, October 24, 2026, at 10 AM and proceed towards Ambaji, passing through approximately 32 assembly constituencies.
The party has appealed to tribal communities, young people, women and supporters to participate in large numbers. Niranjan Vasava said the Adivasi Nyay Yatra aims to highlight public concerns and express support for Chaitar Vasava, who, according to the party, has consistently raised issues affecting different sections of society.

Niranjan Vasava stated that the march will start in Umargam and travel through several districts, including Valsad, Tapi, Navsari, Bharuch, Narmada, Chhota Udepur and Dahod, before reaching Ambaji.
The proposed route will cover around 32 assembly constituencies, giving the campaign an extensive reach across Gujarat. AAP has invited residents, party workers and supporters to join the march and raise their voices on issues concerning tribal communities and the wider public.

Why Is AAP Organising the March for Chaitar Vasava?
Explaining the purpose of the campaign, Niranjan Vasava said Chaitar Vasava has raised concerns relating to education, healthcare, unemployment and the rights associated with Jal, Jangal, Zameen—water, forests and land.
He said the MLA has spoken about issues affecting different communities and stood alongside people when they needed support. The AAP leader argued that these concerns deserve attention and that citizens should be able to raise questions about public services and their rights.
Niranjan Vasava also accused the BJP-led Gujarat government of intimidating people who speak out against its policies or highlight public problems. He alleged that false cases are filed against critics and that legal action is used to silence dissent. These are allegations made by the AAP leader.
AAP Criticises BJP Government Over Alleged Intimidation
The party has positioned the Adivasi Nyay Yatra as a campaign against what it describes as injustice and authoritarian conduct by the state government.
Niranjan Vasava appealed to people from all communities to participate in the march and support efforts to raise questions about education, healthcare, employment and tribal rights. He emphasised that these issues affect people’s everyday lives and should remain a priority for the government.
The AAP leader called on brothers and sisters, young people and party supporters to unite and take part in the campaign. He said greater public participation would help bring these concerns to wider attention.
March to Reach Ambaji After Passing Through 32 Constituencies
According to the announcement, the Adivasi Nyay Yatra will begin at 10 AM on October 24, 2026, in Umargam and continue towards Ambaji through approximately 32 assembly constituencies.
The campaign will focus on support for Chaitar Vasava and issues such as education, healthcare, unemployment and the rights of tribal communities. AAP has urged people to join the march in large numbers.
With this initiative, the party aims to strengthen its campaign around public grievances and tribal rights in Gujarat. The announced route and schedule are based on the details shared by Niranjan Vasava, while further developments will depend on the organisers’ programme.
