Students Express Mental and Financial Struggles

He urged students to maintain resilience and reaffirm their commitment, saying that strong determination can help overcome any challenge.
Allegations of Paper Leak and Governance Claim
Arvind Kejriwal also commented on the issue of paper leaks, claiming that such incidents can be prevented if the system is managed with integrity. He cited previous examination records in Delhi and Punjab under AAP governance, stating that no paper leaks were reported during those periods.
Support Measures for Students
The AAP leader also mentioned that he would discuss with Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann arrangements to provide free bus travel for students appearing in the re-examination, helping ease their financial burden.
Government Response and Re-Examination Plan
Meanwhile, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan chaired a review meeting on preparations for the upcoming re-examination scheduled for June 21. Authorities have been instructed to ensure transparency, strict security, and proper facilities for candidates.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) had earlier cancelled NEET-UG 2026 following allegations of a coordinated paper leak, affecting over 22 lakh students across India and abroad.
