Atishi and AAP protest on streets highlighting the gas cylinder shortage and exposing BJP government failures across Delhi and the nation.
Delhi witnessed a powerful demonstration by Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leaders, led by Atishi, as they took to the streets to expose the failures of the BJP government amid a nationwide gas cylinder shortage. Citizens are facing severe difficulties, with long queues for refilling cylinders, restaurants shutting down, and households relying on wood and coal for cooking.
Atishi accused the BJP government of prioritizing its authoritarian approach over addressing public problems. She highlighted that AAP MLAs were suspended and prevented from entering the Delhi Assembly, yet they continued to raise the voice of the people on the streets.
Outside the Delhi Assembly, AAP held a strong protest against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the BJP government, demanding accountability. Atishi pointed out that the gas cylinder shortage is causing immense inconvenience to citizens, and promises of free cylinders have failed. People are struggling with power cuts, shortages of medicines in hospitals, and a lack of cooking gas.

Atishi clarified that the BJP government is attempting to hide its failures by blocking AAP legislators from the Assembly, but the party remains committed to exposing government shortcomings publicly. “Public issues cannot be suppressed, and AAP will continue to highlight government failures at every level,” she said.
Experts note that the gas cylinder shortage is no longer just a domestic problem; it reflects the government’s negligence and failure to meet the needs of citizens. If immediate action is not taken, public frustration is expected to rise further.
AAP leaders reiterated that even if assembly doors are closed, the party will ensure the public’s voice reaches the government. The ongoing gas cylinder shortage has now become a critical issue affecting citizens across the nation, highlighting the BJP government’s inability to deliver on its promises.
