CM Bhajan : Union Home and Cooperation Minister Shri Amit Shah said that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is making India prosperous, safe and developed. After the surgical strike after the Uri attack, after the air strike after the Pulwama attack and after the cowardly attack of Pahalgam, Operation Sindoor was launched under the leadership of the Prime Minister and terrorists were eliminated by going into the house of Pakistan. He said the Prime Minister gave a message to the entire world that Indian border, army and citizens should not be tampered with, otherwise there will be consequences.
Shri Shah was addressing the Sahakar and Rozgar Utsav at Dadia in Jaipur on Thursday. He said that Rajasthan is the land of valor, patriotism and protection of Dharma. It has given birth to personalities like Rana Sanga, Maharana Pratap, Veer Durgadas Rathod, Rani Padmini, Pannadhai, Bhamashah. He said that Rajasthan is making a big contribution in the agricultural development of the country. More than 90 per cent of the country’s wheat is produced in India. Also, Rajasthan ranks first in the country in the production of mustard, bajra, tihlan and millets.
Strict action against paper leak mafia
The Union Cooperation Minister said that the State Government under the leadership of CM Bhajan Lal Sharma has done a lot of work in a short span of time. Earlier, Rajasthan was plagued by paper leaks. The state government sent a strong message against the paper leak mafia by forming an SIT. He said that under the leadership of the Chief Minister, MoUs worth more than Rs 35 lakh crore were signed in the Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit, out of which work on MoUs worth about Rs 3 lakh crore has also started. He said that the state government has done many important works including reduction in VAT on petrol and diesel, providing LPG cylinders at Rs 450, Ram Jal Setu Link Project, Navnera Barrage, fetching water from Tajewala Head under Yamuna Water Agreement, providing water under Jal Jeevan Mission to the villages.
India has become the fourth largest economy in the world.
The Union Cooperation Minister said that the Prime Minister has ensured houses, toilets, electricity, gas, ration, medicines up to Rs 5 lakh and free treatment for 60 crore people. The country has today become the fourth largest economy in the world and about 27 crore people have come above the poverty line. He said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Bhajan Lal Sharma, all these schemes and works are being implemented in Rajasthan.
Cooperatives are reaching every village, poor and farmers.
CM Bhajan Shah said that the Prime Minister has established the Ministry of Cooperation to take cooperatives to every village, poor and farmer. The next hundred years are now of cooperation. He said that today cooperatives have an active role in 98 percent of the rural areas. The cooperative contributes to 20 per cent of the country’s wheat and paddy procurement. 35% of fertilizers and 30% of sugar production and 20% of fair price shops are operated through cooperatives.
Rajasthan embraces innovations in cooperatives
Shri Shah said that 31 crore people are associated with 8 lakh 50 thousand cooperatives in the country. We have strengthened 61 innovation tax cooperatives in the last 4 years. At the same time, the work of 2 lakh new Primary Agricultural Credit Societies (PACS) has been started, out of which 40 thousand have been made. Shri Shah said that under the leadership of the Chief Minister, Rajasthan is doing a great job by adopting innovations in cooperatives and has joined the top 5 states of the country.
The state government will soon bring a co-operative code.
Chief Minister Shri Bhajan Lal Sharma said that new records are being set in the country under the leadership of successful Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and guidance of Union Home and Cooperation Minister Shri Amit Shah. The country is moving fast on the path of prosperity through cooperation. He said that the state government is empowering the cooperative societies and PACS. Today there are more than 41 thousand cooperative societies in the state, in which more than 1 crore 10 lakh people are associated. So far, 976 new M-PAXs have been formed. Village Service Co-operative Societies will be formed in all remaining Gram Panchayats within two years. He said that the State Government is working towards bringing a new Co-operative Code.
Employment to more than 75 thousand youth –
CM Bhajan Sharma said that under the leadership of the Prime Minister, the country is moving fast with the resolve of Sarvajan Hitay. According to his vision, our double engine government is working for the welfare of women, youth, poor and farmers. He said that the state government has given appointment to more than 75 thousand youth in government posts. Advertisement is being issued for recruitment to about 28 thousand posts. Thus, more than 2 lakh recruitments are under process.
BPL families in 10,000 villages will be brought above the poverty line.
The Chief Minister said that in the direction of realizing the vision of Antyodaya, the state government organized Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Antyodaya Sambal Pakhwada, in which lakhs of needy people got relief. He said that the state government would bring all the BPL families of 10 thousand villages above the poverty line under the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Garibi Mukt Gaon Yojana. Under this, in the first phase, the survey and application process has been completed in 5 thousand villages, while work is being done in 5 thousand villages.
State Government Committed to Farmers Welfare, Women Empowerment: Shri Sharma said that the State Government has increased the amount of Kisan Samman Nidhi to Rs. It will be increased to Rs 12,000 in a phased manner. He said that an amount of Rs 6,800 crore has been transferred to more than 76 lakh farmers of the state under Kisan Samman Nidhi. At the same time, our government is working fast to provide day-time electricity to farmers for farming. Shri Sharma said that our force is working with sensitivity, understanding the need for all-round development of women.
Minister of State for Cooperation (Independent Charge) Shri Gautam Kumar Dak said that the Prime Minister has increased the importance of the cooperative sector by establishing the Ministry of Cooperation. In a short span of last 4 years, this Ministry has strengthened the movement of cooperatives.
Shri Shah launched various schemes and distributed cheques and certificates to the beneficiaries.
Union Minister for Home Affairs and Cooperation, Shri Amit Shah also virtually inaugurated 24 godowns and 64 millets outlets built under the World’s Largest Food Storage Scheme and launched the White Revolution 2.0 PDCS Online Registration Platform. Under the Gopal Credit Card Scheme, loans worth about Rs. 12 crore were disbursed to 1400 beneficiaries and 2346 Micro ATMs were distributed to Milk Producers Cooperative Societies. Shri Shah also symbolically handed over cheques and certificates to the beneficiaries of various schemes and appointment letters to the youth. In the district level job festival associated with the program, appointment letters were distributed to more than 8 thousand youth. Shri Shah also released the book Lakshya-Patha-Pran-Antyodaya based on the success of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Antyodaya Sambal Pakhwada. Earlier, Shri Shah flagged off 100 new police vehicles and visited an exhibition on the achievements of the Cooperation Department.
