Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami approves ₹44.64 crore for various Uttarakhand development projects, strengthening health, education, and disaster management across the state.

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has approved a total of ₹44.64 crore for various Uttarakhand development projects across the state. The funds will be used for improving public amenities, health services, industrial training institutes, and disaster mitigation efforts.

According to official statements, the investment aims to accelerate ongoing Uttarakhand development projects in multiple assembly constituencies. As part of the National Landslide Risk Mitigation Program (NLRMP) under the National Disaster Management Authority, ₹1 crore has been sanctioned as the first installment for workshops. Additionally, ₹1.99 crore has been approved for repair and strengthening of government industrial establishments, while ₹46.14 lakh and ₹37.71 lakh have been sanctioned for repair and construction works at government tribal hostels in Khatima and Kashipur, Udham Singh Nagar.

In Dehradun district, the Gorkha Sangh Dharamshala in Chandrabani will receive ₹38.97 lakh for renovation and parking facilities. Masuri’s Gunyala village community hall will undergo renovation and beautification with ₹65.93 lakh, and the Sitarganj district jail will get ₹38.15 crore for expansion. These measures are expected to significantly boost infrastructure and public services under ongoing Uttarakhand development projects.

Furthermore, in line with the 15th Finance Commission recommendations, ₹1.62 crore will be released in the financial year 2025-26 for the block-level public health units’ approved work plans of 2024-25. This step aims to strengthen healthcare access and improve public health services across the state.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami’s decision is seen as a major step toward good governance and sustained growth in Uttarakhand. Analysts suggest that these investments will not only advance Uttarakhand development projects but also generate employment opportunities and enhance the overall quality of life for residents.
