Following complaints that a 20-acre trust land near IMA in Dehradun was being sold to a specific community, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has taken strict action, halting all transactions and placing the property under government control. The Masoori-Dehradun Development Authority (MDDA) has been instructed to conduct a thorough investigation into the matter.
CM Dhami Emphasizes Protection of Devbhoomi’s Heritage
The Chief Minister stressed that the identity and cultural heritage of Devbhoomi (Uttarakhand) would not be compromised under any circumstances. He clarified that those involved in past attempts to establish a Muslim university in the state were linked to the current complaint. CM Dhami made it clear that any interference with Uttarakhand’s land laws or misuse of property would not be tolerated.

The Chief Minister assured that the ongoing investigation by MDDA would be impartial and transparent.
