CM Mohan Yadav has instructed officials to ensure seamless transportation, accommodation, food, and medical facilities for devotees traveling from Madhya Pradesh to the Prayagraj Mahakumbh. He issued these directives during a video conference with divisional officers from Samatva Bhavan, his official residence. Additionally, he reviewed district-wise preparations and stressed that essential services should be maintained throughout the event. Dr. Yadav also announced that individuals who pledge to donate their bodies will be honored with state recognition.
During the meeting, CM Mohan Yadav discussed arrangements with senior administrative and police officers, along with public representatives from Rewa, Sidhi, Maihar, Satna, and Mauganj districts. He urged them to ensure all necessary provisions for the convenience of pilgrims. Deputy Chief Minister Shri Rajendra Shukla participated in the discussion from Rewa, while Additional Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister’s Office, Dr. Rajesh Rajoura, was present at the video conference.

CM Mohan Yadav highlighted that Magh Purnima, falling on February 12, is an auspicious day for Ganga Snan and charitable activities, attracting a large influx of devotees. He commended the district administration for its efficient disaster management and emphasized the need to maintain similar standards in the upcoming days. Additionally, he called for cooperation from public representatives and social organizations to ensure smooth arrangements.

They noted that when pilgrim numbers surged on January 29, essential services like food, water, medical aid, and shelter were efficiently managed in the border districts of Uttar Pradesh. This well-planned approach prevented any crisis, and vehicle movement in the Jabalpur and Rewa divisions was systematically regulated.
